Ordered Paceman Cooper S today, this will be our 5th
Starlight blue, black roof, black mirrors, black bonnet stripes, black headlights, black leather, anthracite headlining, 19" 'Y' spoke alloys, Chilli and Media packs and a few other extras, should get in in June sometime.
Looking forward to it already!!

Previously owned 2 Ones, Cooper S Works hatch and Cooper S Countryman

1st Mini - One

2nd - JCW, fantastic car, loved it, speed, noise, looks, but ride too firm for everyday use (minor issue tho')!

3rd - One

4th - Countryman S, great everyday car, for me best Mini so far

Good little cars, my wife got one a few weeks ago, your spec sounds familiar.

My current demo is a Paceman SD ALL4 and I really like it, The handling is more to my liking than the Countryman, it's stiffer and more MINI in my opinion. I'm sure you'll love it.

Just looking to change ours and considering a Paceman Cooper S, interested to hear views from those who have them.

This will sound strange, but looking to consolidate from a BMW M3 and a hatch Cooper S into one car.
The M3 is a company car and the BIK is horrific!!

Other thoughts are Mercedes A class AMG.

Wife won't consider Golf Gti or Audi S3 as they are too boring looking.

Other ideas welsomed'n

I test drove a Mercedes A and it was good but the interior plastics felt cheap and flimsy.
The Mini just feels better quality. I never got around to the Audi but I did consider it

Really, how interesting!

I expected the Mercedes to feel better quality than the Mini?

I was enquiring about the A250 AMG, so they gave me a 2.0l diesel to try. It drove really well, handling was pretty good and it looks nice, but I was a little disappointed by the interior. And I didn't like the media screen thing, that sticks up in the air, and is not retractable.

Had the car detailed and a ceramic coating applied this week, the detailer commented on how nice the colour is.The dealers prep was ok , but it had quite a few swirls, looks much better now.

I think that's my favourite MINI colour at the moment.

In my humble opinion the generation 1 cars look better than the others.

Looks good. I'm still really liking my Paceman, make sure you turn the DSC off and sport on and give it some stick, they handle really well.

Tried a Paceman, it was nice, wife liked the visibility, but it seemed expensive for what it was.
The one I tried was a Cooper SD All4 and it was on at £30,500 which struck me as an awful lot of money for a Mini.

Afraid in the end it just didn't strike me as value against a similarly priced BMW M135i with a lovely straight 6 engine and 320 bhp, so that's what we've got on order.

Looks really good, nice to see one with a black roof and mirrors.I've told the Mrs that I'm getting her some black winter alloys/tyres and might get the roof wrapped black for a change. It still gets quite a lot of attention as no one knows what it is, yours will really baffle with no name on the back.
