Hi all,
I can't (for sure) work out whether Carrera IV 18 inch wheels (first seen on the base 997 Carrera, I think) would work as spare wheels for my 996.1 GT3.
These ones:

Friend has a set that he may not need, and they might make for good spares.
Anyone know for certain?
Check the bolt hole PCD, width and the ET (offset). Jobs a good un.I can't (for sure) work out whether Carrera IV 18 inch wheels (first seen on the base 997 Carrera, I think) would work as spare wheels for my 996.1 GT3.

Assuming that they are for a narrow bodied car, the offsets seem to be within 5mm or so. Depending upon tyres and your geo settings they may or may not rub the arches with lots of lock on but they ought to be viable (perhaps with a setup compromise) from what I can find out.
It looks like they are 18x8 ET57 and 18x10.5 ET60.
Your OE wheels ought to be 18x8 ET52 and 18x10 ET65.
