Cheap pub rocket?

Spotted this in (dare I say it...) Halfrauds and though 'thats pretty decently looking' then I saw the price - under £200!!!

The photos really don't do it justice - lose the horrible toeclips, chain guard and brake levers and that's not a bad little run about?

its more than i would pay for a pub bike but its quite nice. Second hand langsters usually go for around £200 if you hunt through the classifieds though.

I looked at this for a very cheap fix (just want to try it out) but went for the jamis beatnik fixed instead (on the cycle to work scheme) just looked and felt better made even though a smidge more expensive..

Boris bikes are 23kg, I nearly put my back out when I tried to lift one completely off the ground...

That's basically what it is; my own personal Boris bike. It never needs looking after. I can abandon it anywhere without worrying. It's big, stable and comfy.

I actually really like it, for short trips this type of bike is hard to beat.
