Roof refurb kit - any experience?
Discussion
No experience personally - just a screen replacement in the end, but I did some research and I found a lot of advice explaining how difficult it is to get an off the shelf item to fit properly, i.e. you can end up with ripples as the body shells aren't identical. Sounded logical to me but as I said, i ended up with just a screen replacement as the the rest was in good condition.
The recommendations I received were to get tailored made, fitted to the car for a much better guaranteed fit.
Hope that helps.

I'm sure he will clarify soon....
"New old stock" bought from Hexham horseless Carriage (ex TVR main dealers I believe) about a year ago and fitted by Davethetrimmer.I'll have a go at most things but "bottled out" of a full hood re-fit and roof panels. Metal or fibreglass cut too much and you can stick a bit back on, fabric's not quite the same !
If your roof just looks scruffy the Renovo product range can improve things way beyond you would think possible.
