Its all down to which gearbox you want. pdk for speed and city driving or manual for driving pleasure and involvement. I have a 987.2 manual after driving the pdk cars i came to the conclusion that you soon stop using the paddles and stick it in drive all the time after a while, pdk makes the car quicker or certainly feel quicker however as i dont drive in a city or in rush hours much prefer the involvement of a manual. Its also an excellent manual box. Yet need to spend time with both to decide.

Agree the gearbox is the decider. You must try both if you haven't already, especially the PDK.

They look pretty different too. I had a white one as a loaner recently and not for me - didn't stay looking clean for 5 mins.

I'd go PDK and red out of those two. It has PCM too.

The 44k one is anthracite brown - nice colour. I'd search a bit more for an S. The two in the OP are quite high-specced cars, so fine if they're the things you really want, but I don't think you'd ever regret an S, given you're in that ball park.

The agate S, followed by the white one, which looks great whereas the red with black wheels looks chavvy IMHO

But as others have said surely you must prefer manual or PDK ?

Ok

i have a dilemma......

this will be a daily driver (except when mrs isn't using her company car - put the mileage on that eh?) with a commute of M25 (heavy traffic), but i do want the involvment of a manual, hence the 'sitting on the fence'....

Just how much of a fag is the roof on a gen2 spider as above? i have had an s1 elise before, and that's a meccano kit roof. I wanted to get away from this asspect, though it is a lovely car.

Based on the above, the white one is coming out favorite, just.....
