Hi All.
Just got the handbrake ready to refit and I just realised there is no warning switch (S 1 1988), has any one fitted one and if so what parts did you use.

Alan I was looking for a pic and can't find one.
My V8S had what I assume is a brake light switch screwed directly into the fibreglass under the vinyl cover - when the lever was released it pressed the plunger in. (See if you can see a couple of holes in the fibreglass)

I think your brake fluid level also needs to be connected to the warning lamp although not sure when that came into force for MOT.

Any idea where I can pick the switch above up? This will be another job sorted as the wires are connected up and the bulb/holder is shipped smile
