Making the trip up on the Sunday, never been before so still undecided where to park up etc.
S2mike can you advise on a public car park or perhaps a street where I can park? I'm not on the entry list so will need to park as close to the event as possible.
Thanks
Paul

Heres a link to the original discussions, hope this helps,
I believe they are contacting those entered with more details plus maps and "Rally Plaques" this week.
The start for the "Run" on sunday begins 9.30 in staggared groups, from the Leisure Centre ( swimming pool )carpark which is on the lefthand side of the oneway system next to the river and Holiday Inn Hotel, on the Warwick Road A46 into town.

Case Lane, Five Ways, Warwick, CV357JD they just sell beer and crisps no food and they brew their own bitter, 'Case Ale' MUCH recommended

I wont be there this week but my mate Paddy (who some have met as he is a very very old friend of mine and has been involved in some of my TVR ventures!!) will be in his AC Ace Brooklands (probably) just ask in the pub he is well known

Sorry just re-reading this and realised I failed to answer you, the car park at the leisure centre is big enough to park in and not be an entrant. If not allowed entry to the start area on the left side of road, just be sure not to go through the barrier into the Holiday Inn car park. and there is a multi storey park opposite. This has the advantage of a roof top view. Not sure of the charges but will be very handy. Plus only a short walk from the Pen and Parchment pub or the Encore or the Lazy Cow, or the Old Red Lion all.of which are in easy reach or even in sight of the carpark. Or if you take a walk into town the are pubs/ restaurants on most roads.

They used to keep a stash of old sixpenny pieces behind the bar because they didn't get round to altering the bar billiards table to accept decimal coinage...

Haven't been there for a few years though.
