Can i still get my first years no claims
Discussion
My Cars gearbox went a week or so ago, ive got a bit of money coming to me and since its 11 years old and bodged everywhere i decided to start looking at a newer car....
my problem is that in order to get the car i want without breaking the bank on insurance i need to wait untill july to get my new car, after a years no claims my quote went down by £1000...
now do i just leave my car to sit and rott bearing in mind the tax runs out on the 30th of april and the mot runs out on the 5th may ? or do i sorn it ? but will sorning it take away my first year no claims ? or do i tax it again for another 6 months and just go about my business like the car is still running ?
to be honest im very new to the car game and the rules and laws around tax insurance and mot's so please help
thanks
