As per the title, I need to collect two 19 inch rear tyres in my 997. Does anyone know if they will fit in the backseats?

Probably not that helpful to you but I managed to fit 2x 265 section 18" tyres in my Boxster by standing them upright on the passenger seat and using the seatbelt to keep them in place as that was the only I could fit them in.

..I've had 1 rear tyre in the back and 1 rear on the front seat of my 996, you can use the seat belt to hold the front one in tight (thro' the hole in the middle), and adjust the seat / rake back to hold the 1 tight in the back seat (sideways)..

2 fronts fit on the PAX seat as well only not at the same time..!

Just measure across the rear. diameter is circa 650 per tyre.

Reminds me of when I sold my 993. It had 18'' summer wheels fitted but the sale included a full set of 17'' cups, with tyres.

We were able to get all 4 in the car! Hows that for practical.
