Yep, I know it's a stupid question but I mean it seriously.
Forget LaFerraris/P1s/Paganis etc.. They're not cars, they're rolling circuses.. 963hp has way of making something seem beautiful when it's not, and housing such madness gives you more opportunity for drama which is also often confused for a great design.

I'm talking about a genuinely nice design and this Porsche I think is awesome.
This little car is brilliantly styled. It just WORKS. Doesn't try to hard, no "tackyness" (leave that to Ferrari), not overly aggressive and not too weedy - not "beautiful" perhaps but I look at it and I can't think of how to improve it.

I don't own one but I can't think why I don't actually. Just looks like an incredibly satisfying car to own.

My only other contender is for best looking car in the world is the new Vanquish. F**king GREAT looking car.

I just had to google it.

WOW!

It is a very, very beautiful looking car.

Something I will never have the pleasure of owning mind you!

I thought the opposite. A bit bloated.

Very subjective but I would say the Alfa 8C is probably the most beautiful car in my eyes

I don't think the rear of the new boxster works that well. The Cayman sorted it.

It is better looking all round than most other sports cars though, including the 991.

The 991 looks better from the front, all other profiles are not that good.

Moving swiftly on, the Boxster is better looking from the front than a 458, can't really give it a bigger compliment than to be better looking than the latest v8 Ferrari.

Yes the front is fantastic, quite ferrari-esque actually

This opens a can of worms... Everyone has different views of what would make 'the worlds best looking' car. The new boxster is good looking, that's for sure.

NO NO and NOhurl
round up the body like the 991 front end and add a nice rounded rump ala 987.2 sort out the ugly cheap looking rear end lights/diffuser and get rid of the audi tt spoiler and porsche might be there!!!!!

Best looking £50k new car - I wouldn't argue with that qualified statement

Me too. I was quite impressed when it came out, but the initial photos did not make me think I'd bother changing my 987 for one.

I still won't, but only because of the cost. I might look at getting one in a couple of years.

I saw two of these in guards red on the weekend and thought they looked amazing and I am not even normally a fan of that colour.

Interesting.

I've seen many and NO, they don't stop me in my tracks (a £50k car is probably unlikely to do that today I think) but I always look at the car and think "lovely."

Amazed by comments that say the Vanquish is naff. I saw Dave Richards of ProDrive fame driving his maroon one in London a few weeks ago and felt COMPELLED to say how gorgeous it looked. Nothing I'd normally do...

If a Vanquish is naff, a 458/F12 is...... [fill in blank]

It's all just so subjective.

It's like asking if bitter is better than lager....or if ladies with a "fuller figure" are more attractive than the diminutive type biggrin

But personally, I do think the 981 is a gorgeous thing.

Not the best looking in the world though, for me F355 still looks better (showing my age now) also love the RS 4.0 cool
