V8S steering wheel on ebay

i seem to recall that someone the other day mentioned they wanted a steering wheel for a V8S.

I saw this on ebay this eve, though not 100% sure its the right one

I would love one - but unsure on fittings. I think this one would need a specific boss as holes in wrong place. A chimp one was on the bay a day or so ago which was the right fitting, but to be honest, i'm not paying the £280 odd quid it went for - i'll stick with the one I have for that price.

I have stumbled on a mono steering wheel I would like to fit does anyone know the donor for the splined part of the steering column , escort ?

Upper column is Sierra .... but quite possibly Ford used same spline on many models?

some of the aren't splined, they are hexagonal fitting.

Agreed. I have a wooden whele and it is hexagonal shaft.

I changed my UJ's last year, which left the wheel 20 deg off to left. Hoped I could just remove wheem and rotate a few splines, but no such luck. Had to undo UJ and rotate on those splines instead!
