Blanzac-Porcheresse, France, best roads?

Heading down to Blanzac-Porcheresse, from Calais in June. I'm in my 325i and my friends in his 944 S2. We need to get there in good time so some tolls are inevatable, inevatable but boring. Are there any routes with good sweeping quick roads through the countryside? Any particular unmissable sections or routes that are great for driving,
I usually try and keep off the rolls in France with mixed results. Sometimes you just end up on monotonous straight roads with roundabouts every 2 miles. Other times I've found myself carving through spectacular scenery with no other traffic.
Some knowledge of the route in hand would be great.
