Where to look for a good 944?

Hi all,

Not usually a poster on this section, but my circumstances are changing and I've always wanted a 944.

I've been keeping an eye out on the usual places such as eBay and Autotrader, but it seems that listings are polarised into doggy and cheap or decent and way overpriced. Maybe I'm just expecting too much, but I thought that a budget of 2.5-3k for a decent 2.5 or 2.7 would be acceptable? I'd like some history and evidence of the belts been done ideally, although I guess if its cheap then i'd just get that done as my first job.
Does anyone have any other good places to look? I signed up for the Porsche Club GB today, but didnt appear to be many 944's for sale.

I sold my 2.5 on ebay, you missed out on a cracker there fella!

They seem to be gaining a following at present, on top of the already converted people who have one, between PH and ebay and Autotrader you'll probably have 90% of the cars for sale.
