The E type bell housing is aluminium, on the Mk2 and other models is it ally or cast iron?

I think they are all alloy, but I also thing they vary from car to car, so I think you'll need to say which Jaguar you are trying to find a bell housing for.

I have a spare one, just put it on ebay, wondered if they were all ally.

Got a link, I may take a punt if it's the right one.

I didn't want to post a link in case I get told off for trying to sell it on here, seems you don't accept emails, if you search ebay 'Jaguar E type Mk2 Moss box bell housing aluminium' you should find it.

Well, it sold for £87, that's a good result considering I had it on a pile to go for scrap!

Feck, I forgot about that one today and was out when the email reminder came. £87 is a bargain if it's in good nick.

Obviously not that much of a bargain given the bloke can;t be bothered to pay. I should have scrapped it.

Hello, I'd like to buy this bellhousing, if it's still for sale and if it's from a manual car. I'm converting my automatic MK2 to a Supra 5-speed box.

Many thanks,

Sean
