The main reason, I suspect, without knowing anything else about the particular car will be the lack of air conditioning. A hard car to sell without A/C in our experience.

As Toms says lack of A/C and also the comfort seats are not the most poular choice in a GT3. Also there are quite a few cars around with less miles too...

Gt3 and comfort seats just don't sell.

Yes you get the odd new buyer with more money than sense, but on the whole GT3's need the buckets to get the buyers 2nd hand.

Silver also isn't the most popular GT3 colour

I'd have one with comforts.

But not without a/c.

And not in silver, either.

It not bks though, when I sold mine, every one said only Clubsports sell now lol
I could of sold 10 club sport cars just stating I had a GT3 for sale with no advert.

You see comfort spec seated GT3 sit about for months on end.
Not that much an issue on a 996 as you can buy seats for 2k

But on newer models the seats are 6k plus.

It clearly effects the ease of a sale.

Yes.

Not quite the comfy Rolls Royce chairs they're made out to be.

They fit the more, ahem, powerfully built Porsche driver wink

This is basically it. The market for cars without AC is pretty much confined to a small subset of buyers who see it as a track tool. If it was a Clubsport or a comfort with buckets and a tequipment cage it would almost certainly have gone ages ago. Normal seats and no air conditioning is basically the Kryptonite combination that only a tiny proportion of potential buyers would even consider.

For me, I wanted Comfort spec, but I also wanted Clubsport seats, and AC was a must. So for that reason, this wasn't on my short list. I'm picking mine up tomorrow, so having trouble sleeping smile)))))

I only had 2 on my list. The one I'm purchasing and the Nick Whale car. Now we'd agreed 34k at NW, but he wasn't prepared to give it a small oil service as it hadn't been serviced for nearly 2 years, plus sitting around for well over a year, I was worried about others things that might crop up. Plus I was told firstly it was their own car, then I was told it was a SOR, why lie? So another reason, I was out.

It would sell if it was priced significantly cheaper than a/c clubsport models which it isn't
