Bitten the bullet this morning and joined 2 wheel club

After being banned from running when I got my body MOT'd this week, this morning I bit the bullet on a Carrera Zelos. Mainly bought to get fit again, and get some exercise, so wasn't up for spending a lot of cash, this I felt should fit the bill.

With an archery comp coming up next year, which we're all expecting to be at serious elevation (12k ft), fitness levels will be tested, hence the need to get fit again. I'm aiming to put in 10% of the cars mileage a year so this year I'm aiming to hit about 600 miles before dec 31st.

Just need a pair of shorts and lights now and I'm all good to go. Already have the helmet and shoes and tool kit from my MTB before it got nicked, and managed to find a shop that sold spares for the computer so have a new mounting kit for that turing up next week, along with the pump and spd pedals.

Pop down to Lidl, they should have some shorts on good cheapy special price at the moment if you're looking to acquire some kit.

I've got a Go Outdoor card, and they usually have a fairly good sale over bank holiday weekends


Regarding wallet beatings, it better not, I'm trying to save money! Its used to getting beatings anyway, I'm an archer and fly fisherman!
