Gen 2 997 S: sports exhaust / sport / sport plus
Discussion
Hi all, am in the market for a 2009-10 Gen 2 997 S
Having looked at quite a few cars online I see some have buttons on lower left hand side of dash for 'sport', 'sport plus' and another one that looks like a depiction of twin exhaust pipes. There's often an additional button that looks like it toggles dampers.
Wondering what these sport and sport plus buttons do specifically and how much extra to cough up over a car without them
- cheers, dmq

Sport / Sport Plus means it has the Chrono package (with clock on dash).
If you are looking at PDK, this is very useful as it remaps the shift speeds and throttle sensitivity as well as adjusting shift times in terms of revs.
If you are looking at a manual car, there are a few minor benefits that carry over (key memory etc) but nothing significant.
The exhaust and PASM buttons when 'on' put the car in the same mode as 'sports' in a chrono car.
