OK I finally have the funds to upgrade the suspention on my E30 325i Touring. I am looking at lowering the ride hight at the same time.
Most kits will lower the car 20-30mm but I want to go lower I have seen a Spax kit that will take it down 50mm does anyone know if I will have problems with wheel clearance (standard X spoke wheels 205 tyres)
or uneaven tyre wear, suspention geometry changes.
Cheers

Thanks Peter I have sent Andrew an e-mail direct, although his set up might be a little different as his racing his M5 and I just want to stiffen and lower mine as after the TVR the BMW just wants to roll on corners.
As for the E numbers I get lost as well its only that I have owed two E30 models for approx 9 years that I know what they are. The E30 is an easy one to remember as its the original M3 with the bubble arches think the square one.

I had problems lowering my tourer.
I originally used a 40mm think it was a H&R spring kit for a saloon model on standard shocks.
It dropped the back way too low rear camble angle changes dramatically, my 16" rims with 205,50,16 tyres were scraping the back arches, It was almost on the bump stops and dragging its arse everywhere.
What I did was change back springs to ones from E36 model saloon (the later shape) this cured the problem
Mail me direct if you need any more info??
