I’m off for a look. Taking the GTI – too much salt on the roads to risk my precious (said in a Gollum voice). Also need to pick up some bits if Parts are still open, at the grand cost of £3.50.

I bought my C4S from them towards the end of last year and after some serious haggling they bent over backwards to make the buying process enjoyable and they sorted plate transfers etc for me in very quick time.

Never had a problem with Leeds, on the contrary, quite the opposite wink

Not bothering with this, now if it was the new GT3.....

Interesting. Could you elaborate please? is it the other porche owners or the staff that are tit heads?

Well I had a good night, got to talk to lots of people, but didn't pay much attention to the cars. There was a nice surprise on display:

Great evening last night - went on the train so we could do full justice to the wine!

A few pics:

Racing Line up 2:

Not sure if the new Cayman in 1970s Ford Granada Gia Brown works for me:

Maybe this is a customer car though, specced it to match the jumper?
I wonder if he also chose the weight-saving option pack?

Here are a pair of lighly used well presented dealer demo models:

Not used to the limelight, so both engage launch control at the same time:

I'll get me coat!

No Zingari – headlight repair kit after reading on 911.UK. New Cayman was good but my highlight was the mint 993 Turbo (only 15k miles) in the workshop - we had a chat with the nice couple who had just bought it.

Some of the staff. The girls on reception and guys in the servicing and parts department are all very friendly and helpful - it's the sales people that I have had some issues with.

It really, really gets on my tits when a salesman doesn't believe you are interested in or indeed qualify to buy a certain vehicle until they are told what you drive already.

Having said that I have felt the same about VW and BMW garages too.

In fact the only garages I have ever felt the sales staff were genuinely friendly are the Honda garage and Aston Martin garages in Leeds.

'Had a lot of fun in the rain at Oulton this year.

I'll be concentrating my resources on my racing Cayman this year --- but if I have to be something of a Cayman ambassador, so be it smile

Needed another set of Carbon pads after Oulton --- in the wet.

'Must have been finding some grip somewhere smile
