R8 hire... in Dorset

Can anyone advise...I'm looking at an idea to hire an R8 for a weekend or a staurday/sunday in april as it's the Gf's favourite car. Any suggestions for companies/individuals please??

Hiring one will be difficult chap due to the 3/4/5k security deposits a few firms tend to ask for. Primo Pete on Facebook may have an idea though?

Your best bet is an owner who knows you and your past experience with handling cars like that, temp insurance with you added on...Is it for just you to drive? or her? Or both?

Looking at http://www.uk-supercarhire.co.uk/ they appear to have an R8 V10 Spyder in Hampshire, so would be likely to deliver to Dorset. It says 'Nationwide' delivery, so give them a call.

Pete, you could join a car club like clubgt? They have an R8 on the fleet(V8)which is lovely. For nearly the same money you pay for a weekend hire....you might not be far off their most basic package - you might even sneak two cars in there.

Only problem is they are based in London. Chris and Neil who own it are both good guys. Maybe worth a call?
