Cheapest mini out there ??????????
Discussion
Hi all
I think I may have just brought one of the cheapest minis out there. £1800 !!!!!!!!!!!
Me and the wife have have missed our cooper s soooo much since we sold it about 5 years ago to get a larger car due to the little ones coming along.
Now they are a bit bigger we have just brought a cooper as a second car and I'm chuffed!
Its a 2002 silver cooper, black roof, chilli pack, sunroof and 's' alloys. 140,000 miles and all good. Has a clonking steering but just herd on here (ta DanGT) that the problem may be solved with a bit of lubing up of the column (hopefully)
I cant believe how well it runs and rides for those miles !!!!
Few scrapes around the body but nothing major, interior needed a good clean and some new floor mats and is now spot on.
It needs a couple of tires, so gonna ditch the run flats. Anyone got any ideas? I had Falkens on the 's' I used to have, which were good, but may be something better out there by now?????
Best part is I paid £1800 with 6 months tax and MOT til sept!!
My brother couldn't believe it as he paid 3200 for a 2002 with 78k and full history just before Christmas. Put the cars together and they are are almost exactly the same.
Took a punt on it with no history but at that money, who gives a Beep. Apparantly the box and clutch have been done and feel tight too so happy days.
Just wondered if many out there were cheaper or had more miles ?????? Let me know, I wanna know how long they last for as I have been totally surprised by our new one !!!!
