Hi All,
I have noticed something strange on my 987 Boxster which I have owned for 6 weeks. Twice now when approaching the car I have found both of the windows to be slightly open, when I know for certain that I did not leave them ajar.
Any ideas?
James.

possible cause is that you had the key in your pocket in the house and applied pressure on the door open button that will also start openning windows. Doors will then auto lock. If this is the case you can ask the OPC to desensitise the key. Also minimises the risk of the lids popping for the same reason.

I have found that I catch the buttons occassionally with my backside/jacket/bag etc as I leave (and enter) the car.

Might be worth keeping an eye out for that too.

If it is a Gen 1 key, you can get a "repair kit", which is a set of replacement buttons. They are less pronounced, and reduces the possibility of accidental operation. £30-ish, but it works.
