I've just taken delivery of a Benelli, not new, and was hoping I might be able to pick the Scottish area members, who also run bikes, brains for recommendations of who to entrust it to for servicing, and the inevitable running ( or not running!) repairs.
So if you have any recent ( say in the last 12 months) experience of good service for Benelli bikes it would be massively appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Have a look at the "Engenias Benelli" website, the answers to most questions are there. I am helping a local guy sort out his Tornado, it's a lot better than I was led to believe apart from the standard springs suiting a 22 stone rider.

As for the 22 stone.... Well that's more than twice the man I am, so hopefully I won't be facing that challenge myself!

When I saw the post topic, I was instantly transported back to the 70s ... but I take it this is a modern piece of machinery you have.

As a lad, I used to really like these ...

What kind of Benelli did you get?

Cheers,

Hi Eric, mine is a Tornado Tre, green over silver. But I know exactly what you mean.... To my eyes the older machines are still a handsome style. I used to have a Garelli off roader that served as a pit bike for years with nothing more than second hand oil and scavenged petrol! It even survived being accidentally left behind at any number of venues the length of the country and I have very fond memories of it.

Fabulous things. The sei was inspired by the love the designer had for Honda's 500-4 unit + 50% wink

Wonderful! cloud9

I can remember being on holiday with my parents in somewhere like Forte dei Marmi and seeing blokes riding these. They always had a bird on the back wearing gold lamé bikini bottoms and those high heel sandals with wooden soles.

I was just having a look to see what Peter's bike is like though and they're absolutely lovely too.

cool
