Any Banbury Residents?

I am looking to move to the area, and was hoping that there may be a resident or two online from the northern area of Banbury.

I am especially interested in anyone in/around the Hanwell Area, in regards two the 1000 proposed houses going up there. As someone looking to buy in the area this scares the hell out of me!

Are you looking at buying in Banbury itself or one of the neighbouring villages

Sorry for the lack of response, trying to purchase a property we have fallen in love in the new estate in the North of Banbury, this despite the owner being an old biddy with 4 cats and an expectation that her house (been on/off the market for 3 years) is worth more then the 98% of the asking price we (cash buyer, 4 months before we can move in...) have offered!


I am keen to find out peoples general feel for the area. Good parts, bad parts...good bits, bad bits...any recommendations for good bars/clubs(?) shopping etc! Anything people can personally comment on...
