Brooklands TVR day

Sunday May 12th will see Brooklands Museum echo to the roar of TVRs. The birthplace of British Motorsport and Aviation is welcoming TVR as the star marque for one glorious day. Brooklands is situated just off junction 10 of the M25 near Weybridge. Tickets can be purchased at the entrance gate on arrival - admission is £10 on the day.
There are plenty of new exhibits to explore. Discover your inner F1 driver in the Formula One simulator, live the high life and climb aboard Concorde for a unique supersonic experience then take a step back in time inside the London Bus Museum. TVR parking is on offer within the museum via the Campbell Gate which forms part of the historic banking. There will be the opportunity to create some wonderful photographs of the TVRs given the historic backdrop.
You won’t go hungry as delicious hot and cold refreshments are available from the Sunbeam Café all day. Brooklands is also next door to Mercedes-Benz World which is certainly well worth a wander around. See you there!
There may also be a limited number of spaces available to drive the test hill which forms part of the original Brooklands estate.

...never - Get up at o-F*$k hundred hours, fresh morning air on the run to London to wake you up,...the adrenalin of the tunnel runs to keep you going,...and then the excitement of doing Brooklands...followed by the M25 challenge on he way home..................The perhaps to sleep for a week You make it sound very exciting, but won't you be tired after all that early morning tunnelling? I could very easily be tempted.....
You will all be welcome on Thunder in the Tunnels. Start will be before 7 am, plan being to enjoy a relatively traffic free couple of hours around the tunnels and bridges of London, ending up at Brooklands mid-morning, as the TVR Club day starts any time after 10.00. About 600 TVRs expected at Brooklands, about 100-150 on the tunnels run. Don't panic, a full itinerary will be issued at the start of the run so you don't get lost.

Better to add yourself to the list on the thread in TVR events, that way you see updates and get included in any mail outs - I might be brave enough to attempt TomTom waypoints, for example. There's no commitment, just turn up if you still feel like it on the day. No fee, only cost is your fuel.
