2.9 Boxster Bluetooth

Just helping a friend out. What's the best solution for adding bluetooth to a non-PCM, 2.9 Boxster? Thanks

Just did some digging and its a CDR-30 with the universal audio interface. Looks like you can't retro fit a factory bluetooth module. Any other solutions available or is it just a 'Parrot'? Thanks

For me, it was a simple case of buy a little Garmin with BT capability for the phone. Still no good for MP3 players though. Failing that, sometimes you see CDR-30s for sale in the USA with BT. You'll need the phone bits though but those should be available as spare parts or from a scrappy.

Next step would be a 3rd party head unit. but at £1000+, it is too rich for the 2 emergency calls I might make per year.
