Surely you are looking for something specific as regards to your specification. Most owners will sell them on via OPC as they will generally be purchasing something else from them and most buyers of Porsche's are generally insecure about buying from anyone who is not part of an OPC.

It's perfectly normal for a relatively new car to stay within the opc network.

Why can't you buy from an opc?

I'm probably putting mine up next month. I think most private buyers would wait until spring arrives before advertising.

Mine will be similar to private one on Pistonheads, but higher spec.

and many owners like me aren't entirely comfortable with a £25k+ cash sale to someone I've never met so prefer just to sell to an OPC (who often don't offer that much less than a pirate buyer anyway)

I had a very good offer part X on mine against a new 991 S that they had in stock. Still think I wont go with it tho as I feel the 991 is de-valueing at a rapid rate if it bought it new.

My mind keeps telling me to sell mine but I just bloody love it even tho it is not bloody practical for me.

I often find that pirates drive a hard bargain, too.

Well there are a few options that are essential but as long as those are speced i'm not too fussy about it being LOADED up... I like 3-4 of the available colours and rather not pay a dealer 2-3k for the priviledge.. I've bought many cars ( most ) private and i seem to be a good judge of Car/Character so far.. I guess i'm not Typical Porche material hahaha.........

i can but just curious as to why almost 100% of cars are dealer ONLY ??? Also the 2-3K saved would be useful but it does look like my choice may be limited frown ...... I Kinda like buying from owners as the good ones really care about their car's and its rarely just about the money,u get a full personal history and maybe i've just been lucky with all my past purchases ???

I totally agree with you generally, but not sure it makes much difference on a nearly new car.

The specs on the dealer cars aren't great either and most of the hood colours are "safe"- this is fine but a silver/grey with a red hood would be preferable.

most buy with PCP and if you sell in the 1st year would be expensive to get out of.

There are a number of cars on the AUC with Red hood and leather. As for them being 3-4k more what is the benchmark being used for comparison. The 981 is taking a big hit (possibly proportionately as bad as 991) and so I would be cheekier than usual and negotiate a big discount.

Agree on the price, they're hanging around a bit- spring should help though. Can't see any with PASM, PCM, full leather, sports seats, PSE and carrera S wheels which is what I want. Several months from potentially pulling the trigger but it doesn't look encouraging.
