Kudos financial services might be worth a try, They do the pensions for everyone at my work.

I think whoever you go to will simply act as a broker anyway so speak to a few and compare what's offered.

Cheers. I spoke to Kudos yesterday as I've got a couple of old personal pension plans from companies I used to work for managed by them. They want to charge me £500+vat "per piece of work" but were a bit vague about the definition of a "piece of work". I gather these companies can no longer offer free services to individuals as they're not allowed to make money off commission from products any more so I'll probably have to pay wherever I go, just wondered if there was anywhere a bit less expensive...

Changes made to the business regulations mean that instead of getting commission on sales made via them by Insurance companies, etc. IFCs now charge you for work done.

^^What he said.

Be careful to read the small print as well as I know some have a minimum charge as well. I know Clydesdale private banking have a minimum charge of £1500.
