996 squeaky hard top

My 996 cab has a hard top fitted. It squeaks when you go over rough roads (all the ones in my area!) the squeak comes from the front catch area.

I just wondered if any one knew if it was adjustable in some way, I had a quick look but didn't see anything obvious.

Failing That. any tips on how to stop the squeak? as it spoils an other wise perfect driving car!

Take it off. Apply a little silicone oil spray to all the surfaces where rubber from the hardtop touch the car and that should do it. HTH

I'd second that, I bloody wiped off the grease as it looked manky and forgot to re-grease properly - now its squeaky as anything and probably a bit scuffed
