Stunning 997 turbo, opinion ?
Discussion
Here is a stunning 997 turbo 2006 gen 1 blue cobalt, this with yellow is my favourite colour and very keenly priced. I know that these cars will probably depreciate further but what do people think about this one ? Has it got all the must have options ? It is sold by RSJ who have a very good reputation so I may go and see it and buy it if I like it.
Thank you

Been for sale for ages. If you like it buy it.
Are you sure this exact one has been on sale for ages? They have had a couple of almost identically spec'ed ones... (I know this as I bought one of them!). RSJ are great to deal with... and its the best colour for the 997T in my option (I would say that though)!!
I agree if you like it buy it.
I would add that whenever I see photos of Cobalt Blue on the RSJ adverts, it
appears very washed out, and a much lighter blue. I think they are too used to photographing black or silver cars!
A couple of pics of mine attached for reference. The colour can vary dependent on light conditions.

Had mine for 4 years and near on 40,000 miles (and it's not a daily driver). Awesome car.
Colour really reacts well to paintwork being maintained properly.

It definitely has been for sale for ages. I was keeping an eye on it, but bought another one. The seat pad looks strange to me - not seen the leather go like that in a 997 before. Pics on the RSJ site are pretty poor though, so difficult to see. The above comment that the interior isn't mint fits with the pics, which is maybe why it's hung around.
Cobalt is never going to be the easiest to resell, but then it's not a horror either. Respected seller so shouldn't be too many dramas. Check it out and see if works for you!

Afternoon chaps
Yes we have had the car since about November but I was brave enough to buy 3 Cobalt Turbo's at that time and 2 have gone.
Its a colour that I personally like hugely as my first Porsche ever was Cobalt and therefore never miss the chance to buy Cobalt cars.
Just bought a 997 2S in Cobalt today and have sold lots and lots of Cobalt cars over the years.
We dont pay any more or any less for them nor do they sell for any more or any less.
It gets very boring looking at Silver and Black and Seal grey cars, month in month out and they brighten the place up.
Apologies for the rear cracked light in the picture , this was on the day of purchase and I missed it , its since been replaced.
With regards to taking pictures of Cobalt in a showroom with fluorescent lighting , well its not the easiest thing to do.
With regards to the bit of sagging on the drivers seat , well we cant control the weight of people who previously used the car and its not a new seat and there isnt much you can do about it but we cant turn away good cars just because the seat has sunk a bit as it happens on lots of Porsches.
