My front bulb sockets are brittle and corroded can't seem to find any on ebay anyone know the donor car ?

A long gone Sherpa van thats why lenses are like hens teeth.

I knew the lenses were rare but the socket too ? I'll rig an alternative then I think its ok as long as its 5w ?

That sounds more like it, I'll double check I know its got to be right or the circuit thinks the bulbs gone and you get the double time flash thing going on.
