So since smashing the hell out of my lovely S2 I've been busy scouring the internet for parts and other bits and bobs. I would also like to give special thanks to:

Mike Phillips (Philpot)for providing the new face of my S2. Thanks for the bonnet mate.

Norman Farmer (Gerald)for lots of advice of headlights and badges. Thank you

Dave M (Dave M smile ) for the usual sound advice and pitfalls of dubious characters offering parts on there first post! Thank you

So without further waffling im sure you would all like to see the picture.....

Please be aware that there is a full colour change involved with the respray (felt i needed to pre warn the die hard TVR purists as its not an original colour)

So heres the smashed wreckage...

Smashing to bits for salvage frown

Philpotts bonnet arrives and work starts on it...

Fully stripped ready for spraying...

Fully resprayed and parts back on. Hope you all like...

Went a bit Austin Powers on the badge smile

Thanks again for all the help hope you enjoy the pics

Regards

Karl

Looks great. Don't worry about it being a non original colour - I think that TVR would paint it any shade that you wanted. Mine isn't original and looks better for it....

Hi Karl,
Love the Austin Powers Badge.
Here's mine....

Edit: Where in Manchester are you? PM me, be nice to arrange a run out sometime. We've got so many scenic routes to choose from, shame to drive solo.

Colour is BMW sparkling graphite not granite mate. It's a recent colour and poss only just discontinued by BMW.

Just taken these in the sunlight so not sure how they'll appear or if you'll be able to see how sparkly it is. I Bought a spray can from halfords and tested it on a old piece of fibreglass to check i loved the colour.
