I like that "may use full lane" road sign though. A few of those stuck up in cities and country roads would surely take the heat out of many situations before they escalated, simply by reminding drivers that we have as much right to the road as them

100% agree, but it would cause mass outrage. I'll settle for the minor outrage we get now please. The morons will never be educated by this kind of thing, they'll always just see cyclists as "potential roadkill".

And ironically, this morning I was shouted at, honked at, swerved towards and then cut up by a black cab driver. I don't even know why, presumably he didn't like that I'd filtered through to stop in the ASZ at the lights he was stopped at...

I believe the procedure for complaints about driving (as opposed to overcharging, rudeness, getting lost, roundabout routing etc) is to report it to the police. And I can't see the value in it, sadly.

5 minutes for an e-mail. This driver may have a number of complaints outstanding and is clearly dangerous. Do nothing and the next cyclist he annoys could die, perhaps.

Fair point. Sadly it was only remarkable because on this occasion I actually hadn't done anything he could conceivably object to...
