For anyone who needs one, there's an S2 bodyshell with windscreen & doors etc. on fleabay.
Also a bonnet & headlights in sep. ad, same vendor, in the Redditch area.

( The Redditch Triangle? where TVR's have been known to mysteriously vanish.)

I wonder what the result was in the "TVR Sandwich" thread?

bit worrying that these guys don't know a brake reservoir from a clutch one and they are TVR experts!!!

It is actually the S1.5/S2 SAAB remote brake fluid reservoir mounted on the bulkhead beneath the windscreen, so they are correct. The clutch m/cyl & res is further forward, on the footwell bulkhead.

I know you knew that really, you just need a good night's sleep.

Thats a perfect match for mine, could be worth keeping for spares in my storage.

I noticed the folding rear hood section was still fitted so enquired as to it's condition.
Doug Elwood says the fabric is ok but dirty, but the plastic window has had it.
Black roof stays are still fitted.

Just in case anyone needs a replacement.
Dunno if they'd split it though.

I thought it might be you bidding on the bonnet Mike.

I kept out of it, nowhere to store it, or I would have bid ( for the common good. )

Both items would be nice to have available if needed by any of us in the future.

Yeah, that was my 50 quid on it for first few days, as you say, a handy spare in case one of us goes "off-roading" or something
