Back to the fold?
Discussion
Hi,
After leaving the Porker fold for a couple of years and trying an RS4 as an alternative I have decided to get back to the fold.
I am looking at a 997 C4S 2008 for around 40k or else a C2S Gen 2 for just a little bit more. However, whilst I know all about the issues with the Gen 1 997 engines did these continue with the Gen 2?
Any advice greatly appreciated.

Don't think there have been any documented failures of the Gen2 on here. After leaving the Porker fold for a couple of years and trying an RS4 as an alternative I have decided to get back to the fold.

From all the horror stories we read on here, looks like Gen2 have been immune. That's where my money would be, for a number of reasons, reliability included.
