Wow, I guess the car would be too hot to sell on, but to strip it!

Did they forget the engine is numbered?!

And they left the steering wheel too. Could have got big bucks for it on eBay.

Not sure what's worse - what happened to the car, or the fact that there is an annotation at the front of the shell saying "they took the engine"

That is so harsh.

I'd like to see the look on the sales person's face if it was trailered back to the showroom for a 'warranty claim'...

Depends how big the team was!
Looks like they knew what they were doing despite leaving the windows, dash board, clocks and steering wheel in place?! confused

The fact that they left the airbag (in car crime terms - free money) points with a fair degree of certainty to a very professional theft to order by someone who knew exactly what they were after. So the question is : which of the whiners on here was it? You know - the ones who are always complaining that they can't have a GT3 engine in a 4 seat Carrera who don't have the wherewithall to ask the special wish department and pay the fee..... rolleyes

Or is it 4.0 owners looking to bump up their stocks value. One member, reportedly, has an un-registered one sat in his collection...

This surely proof that the 4.0 engines are blowing up. With no extended warranty this is a lot cheaper than a Baz rebuild smile
