Hi all. what can I expect for my 2nd service cost & what gets done.

Anyone with a service sheet?

Car under warranty, so going OPC & getting ready to take it like a man! wink

Many thanks.

If you've got a few OPCs in easy reach, it's worth ringing round - I got £80 off my minor service and brake fluid change just by asking what they could do to incentivise me to use them over another OPC...

You might get something off if you're in the Porsche Club.

Thanks peeps.

Looking at the Porsche link provided, is that the 'inclusive' rrp or is there plus oil, consumables etc.?

I wil shop around for sure!

Unless you need the Porsche stamps in your service book, you can get it serviced at any independent without screwing your extended warranty.

Is this a new thing? The extended warranty used to state that all servicing etc had to be carried out by an OPC.

I have recently purchased my C4S from an OPC with the extended warranty and it clearly states
that cover does not apply if the vehicle has been serviced or repaired by me or a third party who is not
an authorised Porsche Centre/Authorised Porsche Service Centre.

It does, but they are changing the policy wording to reflect the new terms. You can use non-OPCs, but you must use all OEM parts.

Thats interesting.Do you know if this will apply to extended warranties already taken out and in force?
Mine runs up to late December 2014 and was obviously issued late 2012 to top up the original new car
warranty which was still in force when I bought from OPC Leeds.

I took out my 2 year extended warranty in 2011. I emailed Porsche GB about 3 months ago and they confirmed I do not need to go to OPC to keep my warranty intact.

If in doubt ask Porsche GB. I got an answer pretty quick.

I renewed my warranty in August and it was applicable then, so I reckon you're good smile
