It certainly is. For most of us that first week learning is one of the most memorable holidays we ever have.It was in my case. Lots of new friends, lots of laughing and quite a lot of falling over.

we ended up in pamparovo, bulgaria...... will go back there next year too.... ski school was top notch.... we got to stay together, kids and all, and the instruction was spot on.... though it didn;t stop me falling!! Where did you go?

You should try other countries too though. They're all brilliant though in different ways.

bulgaria is good for families and beginners, pamparovo has only a couple of black runs.....You should try other countries too though. They're all brilliant though in different ways.
the other resorts in bulgaria are a bit more seedy apparantly..... clophill ski trip anyone?
once we get good at parallel skiing, well stop falling that is, for sure we'll try other countries...
funny thing is, i had bigger falls at the snow dome than on the slopes!!!!!

Austria is great fun, the Tyroleans are party animals and a bit mad but being Germanic it's all very organised.
You sold the car yet?

If you are seriously thinking about one then get on to GTROC forum and have a read up. It's got to be one of the best single marque owners sites around.
If it was me then I'd get into a late low miles MY2010 car and take it to Litchfield Imports for some fettling. The MY11s have slightly nicer interior trim. Carbon effect rather than brushed aluminium but there's no difference to the main systems. If you modify , and some sensible mods are well worth it, then spending more on a newer car isn't worth it.
For a few thousand on top of the price you could have more than 700 reliable horse power and a very big grin.
At the very least it needs a replacement Y Pipe or else it sounds like a loud Vacuum cleaner. The Y pipe is warranty friendly and transforms the sound.
Litchfields are very very good indeed. Highly recommended.
