Are you planning coming up or are you in inverness already. If in town most fuel stations have programmes in for sale.

I would think you could get one at the leaving point. There is a FB page, might be worth asking on there.

First stage is near Drumnadrochit, starting approx 9:50. Car park will be signed from the Drum to Cannich road.

Stage 3 Torrachilty starts at noon, it's west of Contin.

Stage 5 near Tain starts 2pm.

List of places with programmes for sale on the snowman rally website.

Annual pilgrimage North for this - bring it on.

I see Bogie entering a Focus WRC this year. Expect him to be flying.

However, Andy Horne's DAM4100 Metro 6r4 variant is always a highlight for me!

I think (but not sure) that Andy has changed his engine............ Im not sure what too though (Maybe a Jag 3ltr??) or maybe im talking rubbish! But whatever it is, you'll hear it coming a mile off in the forest!

Hope all spectators enjoy what should be a cracking event! Very strong entry and a huge mix of cars too.

Having marshalled the Snowman [when in the mob] it is very sad news indeed.

Whilst not wishing to be insensitive to the loss of life and ensuing suffering, however,

"Officers from the force's Road Policing Unit will be carrying out a full road collision investigation and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal."

I do wonder what position this has left the organisers and club committee members in........

To clarify and for the record, the deceased was a 50y.o. woman from Skye. The boy is being treated in Raigmore infirmary and was stable last night. His injuries are not life threatening. A third person was injured and recorded as walking-wounded.

A very sad day for all involved.
