Terrible ad with lazy censored photos

That may well be a very nice Gen 2 Turbo, with a good spec. But it looks like someone's taken a few shots in a builders yard, and the colour looks nothing like Viper Green.

Possibly a little harsh?

Is this one any better from a business and parked on a street?

Cant see a problem with the pictures, after all I expect most people will go and view before buying.

Maybe not in those pics, but put that car in an OPC showroom and it would look a lot more stunning. Viper is a darker green than shown, but looks best, IMO, with the yellow pccb calipers.

I also like the green ( there is no such colour as Viper Green) on the GT3 but on the Turbo it just doesn't work scratchchin

Yeh, I agree. Strange isn't it? It just does not look right, like its a wrap or something.

Was also going to mention location of photos. But on second look. May actually be outside te owners driveway. Which is fair enough.

Viper Green was the original Glasurit paint (3838 225) from the '70s. To my eyes, in the metal, the colour looks virtually the same - but not in the above photos, where it looks 'washed out'.

It will always be referred to as Viper Green, in the same way that 964s to 991s are still referred to as 911s - it's a generic thing.

Here's my "Viper Green ( Porsche Green ) side by side with a real Viper Green, The owner who I met on Zell last year said " when you've bought 40 new Porsches from your Porsche Dealer in the past 40 years they will give you the colour you want ". He got his RS 4.0 in Viper. Note the difference in the shades.
