Hi everyone

This is my first post in the Ferrari section so don't be to hard on me!
I currently have a GT3 Mk2 and am seriously thinking of changing it for a 360 (anyone fancy a swap)
Never having driven any F-cars, and finding it ridiculously impossible to find a local dealer/specialist who will offer me a test drive;
a) Depending on the 'wow' factor of driving a 360 I don't yet know if I want to make this change. Has anyone here driven both and can give me an idea of what I'm likely to expect?
b) If I do decide to do it, I don't know if it will be manual or F1 (had an M3 SMG and loved it)

Following on from Mudfish's thread and his potential loss in just 8 months (I sympathise with you, and don't let the stealers beat you) can someone please advise on trade/private/retail prices.
I think I will be looking for a 99/00 coupe in red with cream or tan and red carpets. Low to average miles. How much less to yellow ones fetch, as this is another colour I fancy?
All help/advice will be much appreciated, thanks.

Can't help you on the driving experience side I'm afraid, but a yellow 360 for less than a red one? You'll be very lucky. There are not that many around and they won't be any cheaper, just a damn site harder to find. The guy (the Owners' Club South Wales RO) who sold me my Giallo 348 Spider is looking for a Giallo 360... without much luck.

I know everyone calls it "resale red", but the 360s do look good in Giallo... and it is a very traditional Ferrari racing colour.

Good luck.

I did much research many months ago and decided that depreciation would be £10 plus £10k per year of ownership. So two years would cot me £30k. A lot of money but if you go into it with your eyes open that is the cost of the pleaseure and joy. Don't think about rationalising the desicion, you won't be able to.

Go for it.

I decided that I would loose less by buying new. Sounds stange but all cars I looked at were being offered at well above retail value. Ended up waiting 7 months and getting a new car for on £8k more than a 18 month old car I could have driven out the showroom. That will be more than recouped come selling time.

The reason I thought Giallo may be better value than Rosso is from feedback I've had from talking to a few dealers, one actually said they wouldn't currently bid on one.
I've been told that it's a colour that will either sell straight away or stick in a showroom for ages.
Quite fancy the colour myself but the ones I've seen have all had a nero interior, which for me isn't so appealing.
