Now then , now then, Guys and Gals. Can anyone tell me if they have purchased the perfomance meter that is being promoted on the site, and what they think of it?

It's good - very good in fact. I've seen it get within less than 2% of the official times at Santa Pod after minimal setting up. I used mine to work out the power of the engine (at the wheels) and was a bit sceptical when it seemed a bit low. A subsequent trip to a rolling road confirmed all was not quite well with the engine so the AP-22 had been right all along. It's dead easy to use, doesn't need any external power connection and is very accurate. It allows you to play with, for example, suspension set ups to see how much difference a particular change made to cornering speeds, to measure your braking distance, to measure in gear acceleration, e.g. 50-70mph, etc., etc. It's definitely more than just a toy !

I got one last week, with only a couple of quick 0-60 runs and the weight set from a weigh bridge my chim showed 170bhp at the wheels. when on the rollers it also showed 170BHp at the wheels.. looks good so far.

Thanks for the advice guys. I've had a good look over the specs and seen what it can do, just wanted to check it was all it was cracked up to be. If it works as described then I think I'd better go and get one! Oh, can it calculate torque as well? YT

I've got one too and a Chimaera. What weight / other parameters did you use, please? Thanks
