More credit cards or less credit cards?
Discussion
I've always been under the impression that in order to maintain a high credit score, one should always cancel unused credit cards.
However, in relation to my U.S credit file, I was told that I should in fact do the opposite on the grounds that the more credit you have, you'll be using less of the overall percentage of your credit line and therefore be considered a lower risk borrower.
Can anyone advise?
