Not quite a SAS-er but I was given a speeding ticket along Torquay seafront a couple of years ago by a member of the bib who recognised the PH smilie on the back of my car. While standing at the roadside he explained that he could not let me off as the chap in the passenger seat of the Bib-mobile running a PNC check on me was his boss.......
