Trying to help a mate fix his SAAB (on the cheap) It needs a new power steering pipe, as the existing one has a small leak (small leak, high pressure hose = lots of red engine.

The SAAB part is about £125, just wondered if anyone knew of a hydraulic hose repair place, I think repairing is relatively common for HGV and agricultural stuff, but this is only a small job, so ideally looking for a small friendly indie !

Thank you

You have the hose off?

Take it to your local Pirtek. They might be able to make one up for you.

Pirtek tend to be expensive, have a look in the Yellow Pages or on the Internet for local independant hydraulic hose supplies, they will almost certainly be cheaper than Pirtek. Whereabouts are you based?
