Why can't he stop bitching and whinging? IT WAS A RACING INCIDENT! it's what happens in this sport sometimes. Just shutup Coulthard and get on with it!

Sorry about that, just wanted to get it off my chest!
Rant over,

He's a whinging, whining moaner.... No balls, no real guts to go for it, too complacent IMHO, definitely an also-ran (in the GP world of course!)

No balls and no guts? I'd like to see you punt a car round Monaco between the barriers at even half the speed that any of the F1 throttle jockeys do.

Now, Children, back in your play pens please....

Need I remind you that the whole whinging malarky was patented by one Nigel Mansell - who couldn't even win a race by a whole minutes margin without finding something to complain about - leading to less than zero respect from those who really know about things - his mechanics.

As for Scots versus English in the F1 stakes, I'd back off boys - do a little calculation based on drivers per head of population and It's only Finland that begins to have a look in. We're simply the fastest country on earth.....

As for Coulthard in particular, he may not come across as Mr Charisma, but his track record in Girlfriends is certainly impressive and anyone who can keep Mr Schumacer in his place round Monaco for two hours without making a single mistake is a little more than just 'impressive'

......I'll go and hide now.....

My parents know his parents and have met 'DC'in La Manga in Spain. He went out in my parents boat whilst his parents boat was in dry dock. I wish I had been there that day to pull his leg about his f1 career and his lack of interest in cars.

As an aside, did you know that the expression "getting off 'scot free'" has nothing to do with Scotland/Scottish/Scotsmen - and equally is making no reference to any supposed frugality of Scotsmen? I'll get me Mac...

Ahh it's so good to get the old Scottish / English drum beating.... just to add fuel to the fire here's a link that some kind person added to a thread on another forum on the same subject.

It seems that some very intelligent, wise bloke decided to put into words what all us Scots know.... namely "How the Scots Invented the Modern World: The True Story of How Western Europe's Poorest Nation Created Our World and Everything in It"

You can buy it here..... www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0609606352/qid%3D1024710196/sr%3D8-1/ref%3Dsr%5F8%5F1/002-2991471-1954453

I've got a lot of time for DC, after a Silverstone test day where he was about the only driver there who actually took the time to talk to the punters. Yes he does suffer from being a little inconsistent sometimes but I think he has been badly let down by the team this year regarding a quick car.
I did not think he whinged that much yesterday, JPM was initially blaming the tyres and car (JPM who has ruined my Fantasy F1 team) which DC took issue with.

How the "F" can you lot be the world's poorest nation when you get everything paid for by English tax payers? Roll on devolution I say, seperate tax, separate law, separate financial administration, pay your own way chaps, oh and we've got a bunch of tossers in No. 10 who are from your neck of the woods - you can have them for your parliament if you want them. Rich...

Errrrr believe me there is not an gram (metrication and all that) of Scot in me but I think you managed to forget North Sea Oil in that little rant, the Scottish actually subsidise the English with that little lot they pump ashore.

Never said I could.... hence the little bit on the end about " in the GP world of course".... >;0) He just never seems to have that extra bit of "aggression" that makes the difference between the winners and also-rans... IMHO
