Morning all .....just wondered if anyone know of any good rehersal spaces in London ......we use Terminal studios as a rule (and store all our gear there), but they are so full these days (seems that a lot of record companies are now block booking the entire complex for weeks on end!!) we need a good back up ....have used The Joint before ....and thought it was a little bit .....meh ....

any ideas boys and girls?

really appreciate any leads

We always used to use Terminal too. I think it's actually the only decent rehearsal space anywhere.

Once or twice we used a really grotty space next to Streatham ice rink.

In the end we found it was actually easier and even a tiny bit cheaper to rent our own rehearsal studio. We had an awesome studio in Streatham Mews where we could leave all our gear set up permanently, so there was never any f*cking about - The only thing we had to worry about was the music. It did wonders for our creativity. You do have to hunt like buggery to find anywhere decent though.

Ahhh, those were the days.

A bit out of London but I've seen a building near Bluewater which was clearly an old BT telephone exchange but now has a sign up saying it's a rehearsal studio. Just near the Merry Chest cafe.
