www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=23&t=12103 (Loosest Woman)

And this one

www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=23&t=12371 (Vicki Butler Henderson)

And this one

Put me seriously in mind of this

'Cos most of us here are red blooded males and that's what we like! Max Power doesn't do it for me, I have no desires for a Vauxhall Nova with shiny wheels and a loud stereo, but I do enjoy a good yarn about loose women or sexy motor/journo TV presenters!

I remember at school those who talked most about it didn't do it and vice versa.

Perhaps things have changed since then.

I think it's called humour. Talking about nuts and bolts 24-7 will get boring rather quickly.

No harm in us discussing topics that also get an airing on Pax Mower.

More interesting and entertaining due to higher brain cell count of PH members

We are still 'just blokes' at the end of the day though

CarZee is right, at the end of the day, we ARE NOT MaxPower baseball cap wearing W@ankers Window shoppers, just human I guess, so no harm in having these topics.

Right, now for a spin in me Nova innit - D'oh!

That's one of the reasons I've closed the thread.

Believe it or not, I'm not actually trying to tell you not to post your adolescent fantasies - I can easily exercise my democratic right not to read them.

Point is though, what do you want PH to be? Because in the absence of heavy censorship from Ted - which is a route I assume he wouldn't want to go down – the gassing station will become what we make it.

If the trend is towards a version of max power but with more expensive cars – that’s what it could become, and it would be a difficult trend to reverse. And the difference will become little more than mutual snobbery about each others’ taste in cars.

Lighten up, its a bit of fun, most people are stuck in work and PH is a good release of work tension.

The Gassing Station is the product of its members and I'm very pleased that it's become a forum for intelligent and humourous discussion. Many forums on the web sink to low levels of discussion and I will intervene occasionally if I think things are become too peurile. Occasional off topic/silly stuff is good for a laugh but I won't be letting every other thread become a 'Who's married the fattest bird' type discussion.

The difference in my view is that the majority of people on this site have the ability to discuss a wide range of topics with a good level of intelligence. From the technical side of cars through to views on crime and punishment the people on this site have the ability to comment thoughtfully on all.

Differing views are welcomed and discussed and any mick taking is done in good faith (hopefully I haven't opened myself up to any mick taking now!!). There is no "I drive a better car than you/have a better job/etc" and everyone is made welcome.

The fact there are threads discussing why VBH is sexy adds to the diversity of the site and also the attraction of it.

I agree with Nigel and zippy here......

I know you have to stop things getting silly Ted, but some of these threads end up being hilarious and making my day.... I also enjoy the serious stuff too, but lets not ban laughter just because some sour-puss scotsman doesn't think it's politically correct to say "I wouldn't mind giving Viki Butler Henderson one"

If we start becoming boring people will depart in droves...

I know it's a fine line but please don't stop the comedy, it's what makes gassing so much fun..

Liven up JohnL or I'll start a "who's shagged the fattest bird" thread (only joking Ted!!)

I agree. I closed the "Who's got the loosest bird" thread after several pages to make a point. I haven't closed the VBH thread and I'm not about to become some leftie PC rabbit stroking vegemite head.

I trust it's appreciated that I started that thread as an amusing juxtaposition to the "Who's got the fastest car then?", after the "fast cars & loose women" comment in a previous thread.

Hope I won't be getting a black spot on me profile?
