Buyer guide / info
Discussion
Hi
I am considering buying an S, but have not owned a TVR before. I have just ordered the book written by Steve Heath, but is there a decent buyers guide on line that I can look at in the meantime?
Is there any real big differences between the S1,2 and 3? Any recomendations on which would be better?
Also I live in France. Has anyone managed to get one of these vehicles registered in France? If so, is there anything that has to be done over and above the normal procedure? Is it possible to get a Certificate of Conformity for an S?
Thanks
Frazer

Hi Frazer,
An excellent idea! But we are slightly biased
The SH bible should answer a lot of questions. Worth looking at the links at the top of the S forum for some good online guides such as http://www.tvrsseries.com/
Regarding France I know there are some owners in France. A chap recently started this thread asking for info so might be worth connecting with.
The folks here are great so don't be afraid to ask.

I appreciate the offer. Unfortunately I am working in Afghanistan at the moment and I live in France.
I will buy a UK car though, but I will have to do some research and then arrange a visit to see a few cars. I havent planned the visit yet. It will probably sometime after April.
I will keep an eye on the trips to France that the various TVR clubs arrange though. It might be possible to meet up with people on one of those.
