Reasonably priced central heating engineer South Glasgow

Hi

Does anyone know of a reasonably priced central heating engineer in East Kilbride / South Glasgow? The girlfriend's Boiler is playing up, and I have no idea what a reasonable callout fee is. Is £75 good or overpriced?

Nah mate, £75 too dear. I'm a self employed heating engineer based in Glasgow and usually charge about £50 for the first hour or so then about £20 per hour after. Most boiler repairs can usually be diagnosed within about half an hour and sometimes repaired within the same time, I'd charge about £35-40 if I repaired it within half hour. I'd offer my services but I've a few jobs in for tomorrow morning then hospital appointment in the afternoon with the wee man, picking up my new (to me) Audi S4 on Saturday, playing with my S4 Sunday! If you struggle to get someone before the weekend let me know and I'd be more than happy to book you in for next week sometime if you'd like, cheers.
